LightPointe âRelay Hopâ Wireless Bridge Provides Ultra Low Latency Backdoor Into Radio-Congested Cities

San Diego, CA - April 29, 2013: LightPointe, a leading manufacturer of Gigabit capacity broadband wireless bridges used by 4G/LTE network operators, enterprises, government agencies and in Ultra Low Latency applications such as High Frequency Trading of stocks, is deploying 4th generation Free Space Optics laser bridges in city environments where radio spectrum is not available. Increasingly, organizations that need to transmit high capacity broadband backhaul connections into or within congested urban areas find that other organizations have already secured the link path desired to a specific building or neighborhood. Bank of America Merrill Lynch goes live on AlgoSpan Low Latency Infrastructure and Exchange Access

AlgoSpan, the specialist market infrastructure provider, is pleased to announce that Bank of America Merrill Lynch has gone live with AlgoSpan’s European low latency exchange market access platform, “AlgoNet’.
